Dr. Sconiers is seeking to be a man after God’s own heart following where God leads him. He earnestly believes in the soon coming of Jesus Christ and seeks to utilize every opportunity to advance the work of God in these last days. Pastor Sconiers is committed to effectively communicating God’s Word and assisting in using their gifts to advance the Kingdom of God. One of Dr. Sconiers favorite verses is Ephesians 2:9-10, “not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” For it reminds him that while God has prepared good works for us to accomplish according to His will, we are not saved by those good works, but simply because God is good and merciful!
